Stuart Sayger, Illustrator

Stuart Sayger is a professional illustrator who works primarily in the comic book industry. Known for his moody and expressive style, Sayger first broke into the industry as the creator of Shiver in the Dark, producing the comic independently from start to finish. Stuart also produced artwork for the "Man of Steel" Superman movie, as well as a video game adaptation of Robert Kirkman'sThief of Thieves. Recent comic book projects include 30-Days of Night, Robert Rodriguez's Machete, and Bram Stoker's Death Ship.

Toy fans will remember Stuart's work from a 2-year run drawing the Bionicle comic book based on the popular Lego toy line. The series was distributed internationally boasting the largest circulation of any comic book in the world. Stuart's clients have included: DC Comics, IDW Comics, Lego, Microsoft, Upper Deck Cards, Warner Brothers, and WizardMagazine.

Stuart will also be hosting the Midwest Toy Fest 2015 Drink & Draw on Saturday, June 6 after the show floor closes.

As a companion project, he has also created the "I, Platypus: The Chronicles of Dakk Waggitt" series of prints featuring the story’s co-star assuming the identities of various superheroes and movie icons. Ginger is a smarty-pants freelance graphic designer and an active co-organizer for the Indy Webcomics Group, a casual meetup for comics artists in Indianapolis. Chris & Gin’s crime-comedy “The Brothers Grant” chronicles the adventures of grumpy bounty hunter Sam and his excitable brother Kevin. Sam aims to destroy crime in the city of Harrison while Kevin struggles to keep him from wrecking his life, their apartment, and the American Midwest. Tristan Thompson

Indianapolis-based illustrator and designer Tristan Thompson produces work that exhibits diverse subject matter. Working as a full-time freelance designer primarily for Arkaik Clothing in 2011, he also spent time designing clothing graphics for independent apparel companies and bands such as As I Lay Dying, Suicide Silence, Memphis May Fire, and Chimaira. He attended Herron School of Art & Design and graduated from University of Southern Indiana in Spring 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Art. Tristan currently works as a full-time graphic artist illustrating and designing merchandise for a variety of clients, including: National Hot Rod Association, Kobe Bryant, Gen Con, Big Ten basketball, Wrangler, X-Games, Minnesota Vikings, Harley-Davidson, Chrysler, Chevrolet, and Susan G. Mike Ficarra is an artist and illustrator currently living in Indianapolis. He earned an Associate's of Fine Arts from the Community College of Morris, and took several classes at The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. He studies at the Herron Institute of Art and Design with a focus on Drawing and Illustration. Mike is currently working on several books. Risenholme: The First Age, a sprawling fantasy epic, The Tempest, a sci-fi reboot of a Shakespearean classic, and The Chronicles of Cornelius Cross, an illustrated journal set in the Risenholme world. He is also a contributor on the children's books Ani and the Grumpus and The Young Puffin, with co-creator Yekaterina Komarovskaya. Born and raised in the cultural melting pot that is the city of New Orleans, Damon Bowie has been a professional artist since the age of 16. He has worked in the Design and Illustration field in New Orleans for the largest fabricator to the Entertainment Industry in the Gulf South. As Art Director and Chief of Design he has helped create parades, sculpture, and elaborate settings for commercial clients and private organizations for over 18years. Throughout that time he has made a supplemental living with efforts including comic book projects as well as many Art Prints he made available for public sale. These days, Bowie has been busy as a Conceptual artist, as well doing commissions for clients all over the world. Among his clients are Upper Deck, Marvel and Heritage publishing. The iconic series of work and his approach to the fan art he offers is a lifelong ambition finally realized for Bowie. Growing up in rural Indiana, Tim realized his love for art and creating at a very young age​​​​​​​​​​. He has fond memories of sitting in church and drawing pictures on paper as early as age 7. He entered his artwork in a contest for the first time in grade school at Neil A. Armstrong elementary school in Mooresville, Indiana. It made him feel good to put his artwork on paper and experience other people appreciating his creation. It was from that point on that that art, design and creating would be a huge part of his life. Tim loves creating, especially in paint, but also enjoys drawing, painting murals, fine scale modeling, graphic creation and illustration of logos and book covers, set design, prop building and sculpting. Tim is a HUGE fan of Star Wars and has been a member of the 501st Legion and Star Wars Indiana as a "sandtrooper" since 2013. Tim resides in Indianapolis, with his beautiful wife Christina, 2 sons Andrew and Devon, daughter Olivia, his pug, Peyton, and cat, Juliet. You can find his work online at www.hisdesign.me.
