Midwest Toy Fest is a celebration of all things toys, comics, collectibles, gaming, and geek culture where fans of all ages can come together to share their hobbies and passions with other fans, vendors, and artists/creators from throughout the Midwest.
Aaron Philebaum- Director of Operations
Aaron has been the proud owner of AP Collectibles in Indianapolis for the past 8 years where he maintains his small store-front and attends 35+ shows and conventions around the midwest each year. As an established business owner with an extensive vendor network, Aaron brings a unique expertise to the group when it comes to vendor relations. Aaron was born and raised right here in Indiana and still has strong ties to his midwest roots.
Favorite fandoms: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, general Sci-fi, the History Channel and collecting just about anything from Hot Toys, Sideshow Collectibles & Gentle Giant
Michael Trent- Director of Communication
Michael worked at Toys “R” Us for 6 years during high school and while attending Herron School of Art completing his degree in Visual Communication. He has almost 20 years of experience in the field of graphic design. He began reading comics in the late 70s and began collecting them seriously in the early 80s. He was an avid gamer in the 90s, mostly playing Magic: The Gathering and Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, Second Edition. His first big convention was Gen Con in 1994, and he’s loved attending them ever since. He added toy collecting to his hobbies about 3 years ago.
Favorite fandoms: Spider-Man (anything), Marvel Comics, The Walking Dead (Comics and TV), Game of Thrones (TV and Toys), Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures, Star Wars: The Black Series
